The rock concert

How things change with every decade that passes us goodbye. I was born in the late 1950s and grew up as a rock music magnet and long hairy strips of the time. I grew up when the girls wore short mini skirts and pants were more than a rarity so the standard if you want to look at the guys. My parents had their hands full of me, but I never really caused them pain until I was 17. I remember I was in Grade 11 and he was in Spring break. At the time, I had never heard of the great adventures of Spring break that today’s children know well. All I knew was that we had a few weeks off and I wanted to do something fun instead of sitting and letting go for two weeks. He was my best friend Kelly who brought me the paper that would eventually change my whole life. In the entertainment section was a review that one of my favorite bands of all time would play in our convention center room on Saturday night that was exactly halfway through the Spring break holiday.
